New Blog Launched for Charlene Li's Altimeter Group
I'm happy to announce the launch of Charlene Li’s new Altimeter Group blog with a sleek new design and scores of improved functionality. Charlene wrote about the redesign yesterday -- specifically her experience crowd-sourcing her logo redesign and working with Horn Group on what we're calling the "super blog". The official site will launch this Friday at altimetergroup.com; until then visit the preview site at www.altimetergroup.net and share your feedback with Charlene and our team.
Charlene is one of the digital industry’s thought leaders on social and emerging technology and her site is a primary way people follow her insights and opinions. Very shortly after we became a client, Charlene tapped us for a more engaging design and a more effective platform for her blog. Our Interactive Services team redesigned and built the site as a communications hub that combines her blog posts, Tweets, events calendar, feeds, presentations, videos and more.
Thank you Charlene for the work, we're eager for everyone's feedback.

Hi Shannon
Looks great. I'm a big fan of Charlene btw.
My feedback (because you asked):
- how about a social graph showing who/how she is connected with in the social media marketing community (we can help with this piece ;-)
- I have to scroll down to see the tag clouds though I see free space under charlene's picture at the top left. Also the tag cloud is nice with those moving keywords but you've to be an expert at pointing and shooting to click on the right keywords ;-).

Great feedback Laurent. We've gotten similar suggestions about the free space on the left side and maybe bringing some elements up into that space. That was a design decision, but check out what we do there within the next week or so. Will pass the social graph idea on to Charlene and the team.

another idea:
- have a feed/widget displaying the conversations of experts in SMM (say the top 150) who mention charlene in their post. it would be very easy to do with our application.
see here for a list of the top 150 http://tops.ecairn.com/top150socialmediamarketing
and then if i search within this community for charlene:

Just an idea ;-)
