How sad for the family, friends and co-workers of CNET editor James Kim. So many of us here have been glued to the web since the initial news that the family was missing. I often avoid the internet on weekends since it's such an intense part of my weekday life, but I must have checked the news sites a million times over last weekend. Our offices are located across the street from CNET, so every time I went outside, it seemed more news vans and satellite trucks were lining the sidewalks. I never met or spoke to James, but we had many mutual friends and colleagues who are now grieving. It was such an uplifting story when Kati and the girls were found safe, what a terrible twist of fate it had to end this way. If you'd like to send a note to the family, make a donation or send a gift, the information is here.
