I've been busy these past few weeks putting the finishing touches on the Constella Network with my cohort and co-founder Giles Fraser at Brands2Life. And today we launched! Constella is a network of 15 indepenent agencies in 20 countries around the globe. Our pitch is that the network gives companies a fresh option for global PR that doesn't really exist out there -- intimate, real realtionships, the best local shops but with infrastrucutre of a big global network. Check out the details in our announcement.
With all the luke warm US sentiments Sabrina witnessed at ETRE last month, it feels good to be rallying such a quality group of people around the world. Plus, I'm still fresh back from living in France for the past two years, so building out our global network is close to home for me personally.
Horn Group and Brands2Life have worked together for almost 4 years now, we've wanted to build and run this network together for more than a year. We're working with a lot of old friends like The Jeffrey Group in Latin America and EastWei in China. But we're also working with several great new friends, like MAVERICK PR in Canada (we had a ton of fun last month working on a big pitch together up in Seattle) and Upstream Asia, who has offices throughout Asia and Australia.
Brands2Life, who covers the UK, brought a group of companies to the network that is just out of this world. These really are the best local and independent PR and comms firms in each of their countries (top tech brands, great awards for their work, A+ people): Lammers Van Toorenburg in Benelux; Point Virgule in France; Fink & Fuchs Public Relations, MaCS Marketing-Communications-Services, and PR-Com in Germany; Canela in Spain; Now PR in Italy; and Westmark Information in Sweden.
Next up -- we have to add a killer partner in India.
